Palo Alto Camp Fair & Teen Summer Opportunities

The 2023 Palo Alto Camp Fair will be held at Palo Alto High School on Sunday, March 5.

Families from all areas are invited to the fair and proceeds benefit the Palo Alto High School Child Development Pathway. Admission is free for attendees and the format allows families to meet with several camps at a time to plan for Summer 2023.

Event overview:

  • ​Summer camps & programs for K-12th grades
  • Free pizza and popcorn
  • Kids craft activities

To have a table at the camp fair, register by February 25. The $300 exhibitor table fee is a tax-deductible donation and includes a table! Non-profits are eligible for a $30 discount – please contact [email protected] 

Camp Fair Exhibitors can also indicate whether they are hiring high school students for leader-in-training positions, internships, junior camp counselors. This includes paid and volunteer (unpaid) positions. Local teens will be invited to the fair to get information on available positions for 2023.

Exhibitors are encouraged to have an ActivityHero listing to be promoted before and after the camp fair. If your camp is an overnight or pre-collegiate program, see the FAQ for special details.

Exhibitor Registration

The Camp Fair will be set-up within the Peery Family Center at Palo Alto High School. To increase your exhibitor space, an extra 6ft table in a premium location is available for $100. Electrical service is also available for an additional $20. Please bring your own extension cord.

Summer Jobs & Internships

To facilitate matching camps with prospective counselors or leaders-in-training, ActivityHero will be inviting local students to the fair to get more information on available positions for.

Are exhibitors required to have a listing on ActivityHero?
No. Exhibitors are not required to have a listing on ActivityHero to participate. ActivityHero will be promoting a free week of camp giveaway prize at the fair, applicable for any camp accepting registrations on ActivityHero.

Do you have to be hiring or offer internships to be an exhibitor?
No, businesses that are hiring will have a special designation so that potential applicants will know which exhibitors are offering paid or unpaid positions.
